The Active City-Community Engagement to Leverage Emissions Reduction through Activities that Transform Energy-use (ACCELERATE) project was selected through an open call for proposals of the Sustainable Lifestyles and Education Programme of the One Planet network. It is funded through the 10YFP Trust Fund, administered by United Nations Environment Programme, with the generous contribution from the Ministry of Environment of Japan.

ACCELERATE aims to strengthen sustainable consumption and production of energy use in Pasig City and Paranaque City by enhancing the implementation of the Philippine Green Building Code and Energy Efficiency and Conservation Law across the board by inspiring action from the private sector and local communities.
